Social Responsibility

Educational Reform:

Education is the key factor in spreading the message of peace. Amir Peace Foundation places an emphasis on helping those seeking education, and helping establish schools with an emphasis on English in areas where there is necessity.

Specifically, one of the main goals is to create a core curriculum in India’s schools whereby students participate in a class once monthly, focusing on peace initiatives and studying examples of international peace building and peacekeeping missions based on historical events.

Furthermore, the Peace Foundation will work towards ending the demoralizing segregation and treatment of children in schools, especially where students are often given separate dining areas based on caste characterizations. Such disparate treatment violates both basic civil rights and fundamental human rights.

Additionally, the foundation seeks to abolish the limitation on the number of languages to be learnt by the students in Indian School.

Election reform-Cashless public funding

    1. Through candidate debates and forums, the Peace Foundation will advocate governmental transparency, honesty and accountability. Many developing countries lack a public sector where officials are free of corruption. Negligence and avoidance of ethical standards have enforced this because the elected public representatives who were supposed to keep high moral standards and be free of corruption have themselves become the fountainhead of corruption and the officials have become their conduits due to lack of values and discipline.

  1. This is actually a vicious cycle. Currently elections are very expensive, not only for the Government but for the candidates themselves. As a result candidates, who can spend the most and win, consider the electioneering expenditure as a business expense that will necessarily have to be recovered with a substantial profit and they do this recovery through a nexus with the bureaucracy. Therefore vetting of candidates is imperative before they are allowed to hold any position in government or run for an office.
  2. The Amir Peace Foundation will campaign and support ideas to break this vicious cycle of corruption in public life.
  3. Through such activities the peace foundation will advocate transparency, honesty and accountability in governance. We can, in other words, say that constructive criticism for public purposes is also an objective of Amir Peace Foundation.

Build Blocks of Society rely on peace

If communities work together as well as compete with each other for educational and economical advancement, a society will emerge which reckons such communities and societies as the building blocks, bricks and pillars of a nation, bonded together with the mortar of a shared goal.

Such a nation however is possible if illiteracy is wiped out cent percent in all communities and societies. Hence Amir Peace Foundation will contribute its might in eradication of illiteracy.

Dispensing with caste based discrimination

  1. The caste system has been prevalent for generations in India. It takes more than the government and non-government agencies to overcome this discriminatory system.
  2. The Amir Peace Foundation will work towards abolishing the caste discrimination the caste discrimination in India, therefore opening the door for others to economically prosper.
  3. The Amir Peace Foundation recognizes that unrest and happiness in the community largely is due to the barriers created from the caste system.

Combating corruption to help maintain peace initiatives

  1. To wage an unrelenting war against corrupt practices in India and elsewhere in the world is one of the key objectives of Amir Peace Foundation. Corruption is a deadly phenomenon that eats into the system of governance and organization.
  2. Amir Peace Foundation will strive to motivate and encourage government staff at various levels to speak out against corruption among st their peers, and act as agents of ethics.
  3. Amir Peace Foundation will encourage government agencies and those with political power to act as citizen agents, enforcing honesty and transparency in their initiatives.
